Miatzil is an app for the unstructured pieces of your life. You drop notes, photos, clips and voice into a bucket. Miatzil files who is in your life, builds your reports, and nudges you about what you might miss — a person to brief, a plan that clashes, a so-what.

Your memory is encrypted and locked to you. We do not sell it, we do not use it to train models, and no advertiser, broker or data partner is given access to it.

A few things that help

This browser can use your location, microphone and camera when you tap. Turning them on now means Weather, Place and Voice just work.

Sunday reports, reminders, calendar, contacts and leave-by live in the iPhone and Android app. A page that is closed cannot nudge you.

Terms

These terms are for Miatzil. They are a written record of the deal between Xeliuh LLC, which makes Miatzil, and you, in plain language. The privacy policy at miatzil.com/privacy.html says in more detail who handles what.

The deal

You drop unstructured life into a bucket. Miatzil notices what you might miss — a person to brief, a plan that clashes, a so-what — and can nudge you. It is not a recap of what you already typed, not medical or legal advice, and not a promise we will catch everything.

AI reads what you drop

Every drop you make is read by Anthropic’s Claude models on Amazon Bedrock, so that Miatzil can file it. What is sent is the text of the drop: a note, the words in a photo or a document, what is said in a voice note or a clip, an event, a place or a contact you drop, and the chats or sent mail you import, with the time and the names of people already on file. Asking a question, Brief me, the assistant and Dreams send the question and the pieces of your memory they need. The models pick out who and what matters and write the answers; the replies come straight back to Miatzil. Amazon Bedrock runs the models for us in the United States. It does not keep what it is sent, and Anthropic never receives it. Before that, Amazon Textract reads the words in photos and documents and Amazon Transcribe turns speech into words; our AWS account has opted out of AWS using that content to improve its services, so none of these services learns from what you drop. Miatzil cannot work without this, so agreeing to these terms is agreeing to it, and saying no signs you out.

What we do with your memory

Your memory is encrypted with a key that belongs to your account. Files you drop — photos, clips, voice notes and documents — are stored encrypted with Miatzil’s own storage key. We use your memory to do the one job you came here for: to file who is in your life, build your reports, answer what you ask, write your Dreams, and raise the handful of things worth telling you about. That is the whole list.

What we never do with it

We do not sell your memory, or any part of it, to anyone, for any purpose. We do not use your memory to train models, and Amazon Bedrock does not train any model on what Miatzil sends it. We do not read your memory ourselves. No advertiser, broker or data partner is ever given access to it. There is no advertising in Miatzil, because the only thing there would be to sell an advertiser is the thing you came here to protect.

Counts, and nothing else

We count things like how often a feature is used, how many drops, people and Dreams an account has, when it was last used and what its AI costs, so we know what to build and what it costs to run. Those counts carry no content. Crash reports are the ones Apple and Google pass on to app makers when you allow it: stack traces, not your notes.

Your account

You must be old enough to have an account where you live, and at least 13. The account is yours. Do not drop other people’s private material you have no right to put here.

Permissions

Camera, photos, contacts, calendar, place, microphone, Health and Face ID are used when you tap them, while Miatzil is open. Two things then keep themselves current while the app is open: once you have dropped Health, its figures are dropped again when they change, and leave-by reads your calendar and where you are to tell you when to set off. Nothing is read in the background, we do not listen in and we do not trail you. Health is read-only: Miatzil never writes anything back to Apple Health or Health Connect.

Paying

Pro, and Dream unlocks where they are offered, are sold by the App Store or Google Play on a phone, and by Stripe on the web. They take the payment, so we never see your card, and a subscription is managed and cancelled where it was bought.

No warranty

The app is offered as-is. Things will be missed, and AI can be wrong. Do not rely on Miatzil as your only reminder for something that matters.

Changes

We may update these terms. When the deal changes we ask you to agree again rather than assuming you noticed, and the date at the top is the version you are reading.

Leaving

Sign out any time. Delete my account erases your memory, the key that protects it and every file you dropped, including everything the app worked out about you. Copies in the database’s backups expire within 14 days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
